Lucky was found lying in a stall after 3 years of prison
in four dark walls. Manure was 6 feet high and he could not
stand without his back touching the roof. |
| His hooves had grown 14 inches in length and tail grown
into the ground.

A poem and more pictures on his rescue.

|
He was wormy, emaciated, dehydrated and reeking of fecal
stench. A caring vet and farrier helped to worm, float teeth,
trim feet and give shots. |
| Lucky was given hay, feed, water and love. It took
7 months for him to heal after being locked away and neglected for 3
years in a horse stall prison. |

|

|
After 7 months recovery, Lucky is now happy and healthy.
He was retired to the Dream Catcher Farm Horse Sanctuary where he
could play with other horses and never be neglected again.
