Picture of pony - This horse had 14 inch hooves after 3 years in prison in a stable while being neglected.

Lucky was found lying in a stall after 3 years of prison in four dark walls.  Manure was 6 feet high and he could not stand without his back touching the roof.
His hooves had grown 14 inches in length and tail grown into the ground.

Also see "Lucky's Story"...  A poem and more pictures on his rescue.

Picture of horse hoof - This equine had a farrier trim his 14 inch hooves.

Picture of equine full of worms after 3 years stranded in a horse stall before his rescue. He now lives at Dream Catcher Farm Horse Sanctuary.

He was wormy, emaciated, dehydrated and reeking of fecal stench.  A caring vet and farrier helped to worm, float teeth, trim feet and give shots.
Lucky was given hay, feed, water and love.  It took 7 months for him to heal after being locked away and neglected for 3 years in a horse stall prison.

After 7 months recovery, Lucky is now happy and healthy.
